Getting Started
The SofaBrain API supports legacy redesign jobs plus media endpoints for inpainting, upscaling, and 5-second video generation.
1. Sign up for an API plan
Choose from our available API plans based on your expected volume. After signing up, you'll receive your unique API key.
2. Make your first API request
Use your API key in the header and send a POST request to one of the production endpoints: `/api/v1/job`, `/api/v1/inpaint`, `/api/v1/upscale`, or `/api/v1/video`.
3. Monitor and receive your results
For legacy redesign jobs, poll /api/v1/jobs/{jobSource}. For video jobs, poll /api/v1/video?job_id={job_id} until the status is completed or failed.
Authentication
All API requests require authentication using your API key. Include it in your request headers as follows:

`/api/v1/inpaint` charges 1 credit, `/api/v1/upscale` charges 2 credits, and `/api/v1/video` charges 27 credits when a video job is created. `GET /api/v1/video` status checks do not charge credits. Video duration is fixed at 5 seconds.
